It’s half term and the children are on vacation. This month, London has loads of exciting events going on for the children, and we have of course, all set out for you. Have a lovely half term week!
– Spring time:
Make the most of the beginning of the new season by visiting parks and orchards with the children to witness the first signs of Spring, with buds and flowers starting to blossom slowly on trees and bushes. Kew Gardens in West London would be a great place to visit for a whole day out, to make the most of its vast variety of plants and flowers.
–IMAGINE Children’s Festival: Organised by the Southbank Centre, the children’s Festival is ‘all about the kids taking over! Southbank Centre will be transformed BY children FOR children, as well as hosting the top names in children’s literature, dance, theatre and art. Enjoy free activities throughout the festival or just take in the atmosphere as children run the show!’
How exciting! It runs till Sunday the 24th of February and is a free event. Bonus!
Museums offer endless hours of entertainment and discovery for children of all ages, which will keep your curious little ones intrigued and fascinated for a whole day. The Museum of London and Natural History Museum are great museums to take your children to during half term as they always have new events and activities set for children every season.
